Virtua Tennis 4 is an action oriented tennis game that focuses on quick matches rather than being a realistic simulation, the heart of the game is the career mode in which the player creates their own avatar. 

The objective is simple: reach the top in four seasons, here the player has several possibilities to improve his tennis player, p. playing training sessions (mini arcade game like collecting eggs) to improve statistics, buy new clothes with cash prizes or play matches. 

Other game modes are individual matches, party mode (playing the aforementioned minigames) or arcade (winning as many matches in a row as possible). Here players can choose from 19 licensed athletes
